This page lists everything our websites — getonebooks.com, the documentation and the developer site — store in your browser, why it is there, how long it stays, and how to change your mind at any time. The list is short on purpose: no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and analytics only on getonebooks.com, only if you say yes.

Analytics — only with your consent

Set only after you choose “Accept analytics”. They show us, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages help. Google processes this on our behalf as our processor (see our sub-processors); advertising features are switched off, and Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.

Other technology — and what we do not use

Fonts are served from this website, not from a font provider, so opening a page contacts no one else.
Country suggestion. To offer your country’s version of the site, the page asks our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which country your connection comes from. The answer is used on the page and not stored.
Error reports. If something breaks in your browser, a description of the error is sent to our own logging server so we can fix it.
Not used: advertising pixels, social-media plug-ins, session recording and browser fingerprinting.

Changing your mind

Use “Change cookie settings” on this page, or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing: choose “Decline”, analytics stops straight away, and its cookies are deleted.

Your browser’s controls

Every browser lets you see, delete and block cookies and site data, usually in its privacy settings. Blocking the strictly necessary entries does not break the site; we just cannot remember your choice, so we will ask again.

The OneBooks app

This policy covers our websites. The OneBooks app uses only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure, described in our privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

When what we store changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what we ask your consent for, we ask you again.
